I earned a BA in English with a minor in political science from Indiana University, a JD from DePaul University College of Law and an MFA in screenwriting from DePaul University’s School of Cinematic Arts. I am a recovering attorney, having practiced intellectual property law prior to becoming a full-time writer and joining DePaul's School of Cinematic Arts as an adjunct professor of screenwriting. I am currently developing several feature film projects, including: PLAIN JANE, winner of the Cassian Elwes Independent Screenwriting Fellowship, and CONCEIVING CHRISTINA, finalist in the StoryPros International Screenwriting Competition. I write stories that celebrate and promote diverse female voices and perspectives.
